Holiday greetings my friends in Folly,
Well here we are again, another Christmas is almost here. We wish you peace, health, friendship and the greatest gift of all - LOVE. On that note, can we all look after someone less fortunate this holiday season - it may not be with money but kindness. My daughter Kaena has decided that any gift she gives this year will go with a donation to a charity - I love that idea. I just bought beautiful fairies for my family and part of the proceeds go to the Starlight foundation. It's given me such a wonderful idea for a new series of collectable fairies linked to a charity for next year.
Our last QVC USA Show of 2008 is December 21st at 1:00 am - 3:00 am and 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST and we have saved the best for last. Brace yourselves, these shows are full of fabulous new items including the introduction of our new Sparkle Butter (item #A77456), in Fairy Opal and Silver Queen, a luxurious body cream that looks plain in the tube but mysteriously turns sparkly when you put it on. This is really magical! And, finally, the Fairy Glamour Jewelry/Cosmetic Keeper (item #J27496). This is in our favorite glitter material that matches the Fairy Godmother Tote, Silver, Gold and Bronze - a must have for the Follyettes. We will be introducing our brand new Empress Peacock Shawl (item #A75916-I), can't wait for you to see the luxurious colors and beading. Something very special that didn't make it on the last show - the Always Faithful Necklace (item #J27496) - one of my personal favorites. A fabulous new simulated diamond group, Star Shine Ring (item #J26893), Star Shine Earrings (item #J26894) and Star Shine Bracelet (item #J26898). Just a few highlights of new collections!
I have been searching for the right words to express how we feel about all of you and how you have affected our lives and magically I received a beautiful Christmas card this morning from Linda and Martin Fisher in the UK and enclosed was this:
I have a list of folks I know, all written in a book;
And every year at Christmas time I go and take a look.
For that is when I realize that these names are now a part;
Not of the book they're in, but of my very heart.
For each name stands for someone who has crossed my path sometime,
And in that meeting they've become the Rhythm of the Rhyme.
And while it sounds fantastic for me to make this claim,
I really feel I am composed of each remembered name.
Even if you may not be aware of any special link,
Just meeting you has shaped my life far more than you may think.
For once you've met somebody, the years cannot erase
The memories of a pleasant word or a friendly face.
So never think my Christmas greeting is just a mere routine
of names upon a Christmas list forgotten in between.
For when I send a Christmas card that is addressed to you,
It's because you're on that list of folks I am indebted to.
For I am but a total of many folks I've met,
And you are also one of those I prefer not to forget.
And whether I have known you for many years or few,
in some ways you have had a part of shaping things I do.
And every year when Christmas comes I realize anew,
The best of gifts that life can give is meeting folks like you.
So may the Spirit of Christmas that for ever and ever endures
leave it's richest blessings in the hearts of You and Yours.
With all my love,
Jenniefer - The Fairy Godmother
